Zima
Winter
Winter came.Down fell snow, burying the roofs below. From the chimney smoke curls high;by the stove it's warm and dry.All the children, hale and bright, round the hearth have gathered tight, stroking Kitty, soft and sweet, who purrs on and keeps the beat. There they play, jump, and shout, for they can't go running out!
