Bio jedan šišmiškoji je izgubio šiš,pa je postao miš.

Once there lived a flittermousewho lost his flitter in the house,and so became a mouse.

Translator's note. The Croatian for bat is "šišmiš", and taking away "šiš" leaves "miš", a mouse. "Flittermouse" is an old English word for a bat, which lets the same sum work in English.
