Proljeće je stiglopreko brda dola,počela je s radomprava mala škola.
Spring has come alongover hill and dell;a real little schoolhas started up as well.
Skupila se djecaiz grada i sela,sva su radoznala,sretna i vesela.
Children gathered therefrom town and village near;curious, every one,happy, full of cheer.
Učili su svašta,sve što nisu znali,mnogo prijateljatu su upoznali.
They learned all kinds of thingsthey'd never known before,and there they came to meetnew friends by the score.
Nakon ljetnog ferjajesen će nam doći,tada će u pravuškolu oni poći.
After summer breakautumn will come round,and then to real schoolthey will all be bound,
S velikom torbom,u njoj školske knjigei njihove tajne,radosti i brige.
