Kada dijete noću plače,iz snova kada se budi,da čedu svome utjehu nađe,majka ga svija na grudi.
When a child cries in the night,waking from its dreams in fear,to find comfort for her little one,mother holds it to her bosom near.
Kad čuje bilo srca njenog,toplinu osjeti majke,ona je njemu božica sreće,ljepša od svake bajke.
When it hears her heart's soft beatingand its mother's warmth is there,she's the goddess of its joy and gladness,than all fairy tales more fair.
Kad padne i bolno plače,tad majci brže hita.Ona mu nježno suze brišei poljupcem rane vida.
