Bonfires on the Konjara
Nekada davno u ono staro doba,dok su konji bili prvoklasna roba.Svaku noć bi konje napasali ljudi,U zvjezdanoj noći, dok mjesec zarudi.
Long, long ago, back in the days of old,when horses were first-class goods, bought and sold,each night the people grazed their horses, ledout under stars, as the moon rose, glowing red.
Da si pruže radost, a dosadu skrate,za potrebe svoje ložili su vatre.Uz vatru se igrali običaji stariI zato se zovu: VATRE NA KONJARI!
To give themselves some joy and make the long hours fly,they lit their fires, their own needs to supply.Around the fire they played old games, as custom requires,and so they're called the Konjara bonfires!
Da je sve u redu vodili su pažnjui slaninu noću pekli su na ražnju.Da bi snove snili i veseli bili,Rakiju bi često iz čuture pili.
They took good care that everything went right,and roasted bacon on the spit at night.To dream their dreams and keep a cheerful mind,they'd often drink rakija from the flask, you'll find.
VATRE NA KONJARI to je igra stara,taj predivni projekt, što nam Miro stvara,u Zelčinu traje već desetak ljetai za njega znade polovica svijeta.
The Konjara bonfires, an old game, known of yore,this splendid project Miro makes for us once more,in Zelčin it has run some ten summers or so,and half the world by now has come to know.
Ovo časno djelo: VATRE NA KONJARI,davno izgubljeni običaji stari.Da probudi prošlost i pruži veselja,eto, to je skromna Varžićeva želja.
