Kada muža glava zaboli,kada treba problem da riješi.Žena je tu da mu utjehu pružii da ga nježno tješi.
When the husband's head begins to ache,when some problem's weighing on his mind,there's the wife, to give him consolationand to soothe him, tender, soft and kind.
Kad muž zaspi i san se oduži,na posao kasni, avaj!On gunđa, viče, žena ga služi:cipele ženo, kaput mi daj!
When the husband oversleeps, and thenhe's running late for work, alas the day!He grumbles, shouts; she serves him yet again:"Wife, my shoes! My coat! Now, don't delay!"
Žena treba muža da volii djecu nježno mazi.Za njene nitko ne pita boli:tko još na to da pazi!
The wife should love her man with all her heartand pet the children small;but no one asks her where her own pains smart:who heeds such things at all!
Svi sretni u kući treba da budu,to je uloga njena.I tisuću još problema drugih,treba da riješi žena.
Everyone at home must happy be:that is her role to play;a thousand other problems, too,the wife must clear away.
Sto poslova žena u kući ima,trči po cijeli dan.Šije, pere, kuha, sprema,dok je ne savlada san.
A hundred jobs at home the wife must do,she's on the run all day long;she sews, she washes, cooks and cleans,till sleep has grown too strong.
Kada na kraju u krevet dođe,da odmori umornu dušui tada treba nježna da bude,da pruži ljubav mužu.
When at the end of day she comes to bed,so she can rest her weary soul and frame,then, even then, she must be soft and tenderand love her husband all the same.
