Televizor imam dobar,GORENJE je njemu ime,tri mjeseca on ne radi,ne služim se više njime.

I have got a good TV,and GORENJE is its brand;three months now it hasn't worked,so I leave it there to stand.

Ekran mu je srednje velik,sedamdeset centi ima,Sahranjen je ANALOGNI,pa mu nešto sad ne štima.

Its screen's of a middle size,seventy centimetres wide;ANALOGUE's been laid to rest,so there's something wrong inside.

Zato nema slike više,samo sniježak pada.DIGITALNI aparatić,treba njemu sada.

So there's no more picture now,only little snowflakes fall;a small DIGITAL deviceis what it needs now, that's all.

Imam drugi televizor,novi, pravi DIGITALAC.Za ovoga sada tražim:skromni kunski MINIMALAC.

I've another television,new and DIGITAL, all the rage;for this old one, all I'm asking:just a kuna MINIMUM WAGE.

Ako netko želi dobar,televizor da si kupi,nek' na ovaj moj telefon,svakog dana on pristupi.

Translator's note. One of his verse ads for "Radio burza", the swap-and-sell show on the local radio, written in 2010, when Croatia switched off analogue television. The Croatian rhymes digitalac ("a digital one") with minimalac, slang for the minimum wage. The phone number was his own.
