Šest pet jedan petsto devedeset,narod zove telefoni brujeemisija počinje u desetTomislava nježni glas se čuje.

Six five one, five hundred ninety: thenpeople call, the phones are buzzing here;on the air the programme starts at ten,and Tomislav's gentle voice we hear.

U subotu dan je običajapo želji se emisija dajeu tom času ljepota se zbrajasve do dvanaest emisija traje.

On Saturday, by custom, it's the daythe programme's played at listeners' request;in those hours all the beauty's on display,till twelve o'clock it runs, without a rest.

To je za nas emisija pravada ostvariš svoje drage željekroz čestitke i voljene pjesmeSvome srcu da pružiš veselje.

For us, this is the programme that is right,to make your dearest wishes all come true,through greetings and the songs that you hold dear,to give your heart some joy and gladness, too.

On Saturdays the weddings bring delight,and beauty flows along the sokaks here;and this is now the moment, fit and right,to wish the newlyweds good luck and cheer.

Uto baka tihim glasom zoveTomislav se umiljato javipuno sreće svom unuku želijer za nju je to užitak pravi.

Just then a grandma calls, her voice is low,and Tomislav picks up, so warm and sweet;she wishes her dear grandson lots of luck,since that, for her, is pleasure most complete.

A djeda je danas sretan bio,pa mu srce od radosti tučedragi unuk što se tek rodiosluša pjesmu bakino unuče.

And Grandpa, too, was happy there today,his heart is pounding with delight and cheer:their dear new grandson, born the other day,hears the song as well, Grandma's little dear.

Šezdesetu obljetnicu brakakum Iveta sa pjesmom im želikumovima iz starog sokakazajedno su sretno ostarili.

To mark their sixtieth wedding year,kum Iveta sends his wishes in a songto his kumovi from the old sokak here,who've grown old happily, their whole lives long.

Divne pjesme, a tambure ječe,emisija što ugodno traje,a za mene ako bude srećeodsvirajte šokačke običaje!

The songs are lovely, and the tamburas ring,the programme runs so pleasantly and long;and if some luck for me the day should bring,play me the Šokac customs in a song!

To je bila emisija prava,nek' im bude veselo i živošto su dali ljudi HRV-apozdravlja ih pjesnik Benak Ivo.

A proper programme, that, in every way,may they stay merry, lively, full of go;for all the HRV people gave today,they're greeted by the poet, Benak Ivo.
