Lijepo vrijeme i subota traje,HRV nam emisiju daje.Tomislavu i Jadranku sada,sve čestitke njihovoga rada.
The weather's fine, and Saturday is here,and HRV brings its programme to our ear;to Tomislav and to Jadranko, too,congratulations on the work they do.
Tek je prošlo nekoliko dana,Marijanci smotru održali,svu ljepotu folkloru su dali,na Ćimenu kolo odigrali.
It's only been a few short days, no more,since Marijanci held their folk review;to folklore they gave all its beauty's due,and on the Ćimen danced the kolo through.
Ako budem ja imao sreće,za sve druge i za mene solo,Marjanačka nek' se čuje himna"NA ĆIMENU KAD ZAIGRA KOLO"
If I should have a stroke of luck today,for all the others, and for me a solo,then let the Marijanci anthem play:"WHEN ON THE ĆIMEN STRIKES UP THE KOLO".
Na stihove što sam napisao,Ivanović Lac ju uglazbio.Marjancima pjesma divna bila,općina ju himnom proglasila.
The verses that I wrote, I'm glad to tell,Lac Ivanović set to music well.To Marijanci the song brought such delight,the council made it their anthem outright.
