Jednog dana nastavnica,zadaću u školi dade:Najbrže na svijetu što je,da li netko od vas znade?
Once the teacher in the classroomset the class a task one day:"What's the fastest thing on earth?Can one of you children say?"
"Kad moj tata u lov ide",važno reče mali Neca,"iz lovačke puške metak,brži je od samog zeca."
"When my dad goes out to hunt,"said young Neca with an air,"then the bullet from his rifleflies much faster than the hare."
Stevica se na to javi:"Svemirski je brod najbrži,on vam zvučni zid razbija,njega mlazni pogon drži."
Stevica then raised his hand:"Spaceships are the fastest yet;they break through the sound barrier,driven by a rocket jet."
"Najbrže su, djeco, misli,one se baš svega sjete."Mudro reče nastavnica:"Misli među zvijezde lete."
"Fastest, children, are our thoughts,they can think of anything,"wisely then the teacher said."Up among the stars they wing."
"Ne slažem se", veli Ivo,"to ću vama dokazati.Roditelji moji sinoć,počeli su se maziti."
"I don't think so," Ivo says,"and I'll prove it here and now:just last night my mum and dadstarted cuddling, and oh, how!"
Najvažnije kad je bilo,doživljaj se ovaj zbio:"Svršio sam", reče tata,"prije nego sam mislio."
When the crucial moment came,here is what my ears had caught:"I have come," my daddy said,"even faster than I thought!"
