To predivno selo mojesmjestilo se blizu Drave,na njedrima Panonijeagrarom se ljudi bave.
This, my lovely village, liesnestled by the Drava's flow;on Pannonia's breast, its peoplework the farmland, reap and sow.
Turski grad je staro zdanje,kao spomen gordo stoji,od stoljeća trinaestogai on svoja ljeta broji.
The old Turkish fort, a relic,stands, a proud memorial, here;since the thirteenth centuryit, too, has counted every year.
U mom selu od davninaopćina se tu smjestila.Devet sela oko sebeponosno je prigrlila.

Dvije krčme selo krasi:PLAVO ZVONO krčma LUKA.Nakon meča tu se dijeli,da l' pohvala il' poduka.

Eh, da nam je Mišin Marko,kao nekad da nastupa.S problemima našeg sela,da po cesti rupe krpa!
Eh, if only Mišin Markocould turn out as once before,and, to solve our village troubles,patch the potholes by the score!
