Rascvjetano ljeto
Summer in Full Bloom
Ljetno sunce osušilo rosu,što je bila trava umivena.Nas smo dvoje sretni, zagrljeni, igrali se na otkosu sijena.
Summer sunshine dried away the dewthat had washed the grass at break of day;we two, happy, in each other's arms,on the swath of new-mown hay would play.
Oko nas je ćarlijao lahor.Pjevale nam ptičice u letu.Vrela ljubav nektar nam je bila, kao pčeli žut pelud u cvijetu.
All around us played a gentle breeze, little birds were singing, flying free;burning love to us was nectar, justas a flower's yellow pollen to the bee.
Ljubljah tvoje usne, oči, licei mirisnu mrsio ti kosu.Uvojke ti skupljao po travi, razasute po cvjetnom otkosu.
I would kiss your lips, your eyes, your face, and I'd tousle all your fragrant hair, gather up your curls among the grass,on the flowering hay strewn everywhere.
Oko nas je rascvjetano ljeto.Sunce grije i nebo se plavi,a nas dvoje, dva malena cvijeta, ostali smo ležati u travi.
All around us, summer was in bloom, warm the sun, the sky above so blue, and the two of us, two little flowers, lay on in the grass the whole day through.
