Evo nova knjiga izvezena,od "POETA" časno iznjedrena.Dvadesetak ljeta već postoje,osnovane od zasluge moje.
Here is a new book, embroidered through and through,by "POETA" with honour brought to view.For twenty years or so they have been known,established by the merit that's my own.
Jednog dana odlučan sam bio,o ljepoti Valpova sam snio.Pjesničko sam društvo osnovao,časno ime "POETE" im dao.
One day my mind was firmly set, and soI dreamt about the beauty of Valpovo.I founded then a poets' club, and Igave it "POETA" for a name held high.
Za to vrijeme od kada postoje,četir' knjige iznjedrili svoje.Za književnost svoj su obol dali,Slavonijom pjesmice čitali.
In all the years since they were first begun,four books of theirs they've brought forth, one by one.They've given literature their humble due,and read their verses all Slavonia through.
U tu knjigu radove sam dao,jednom pjesmom Sopje opisao.Mnogo ljeta slavi se IVANJEi sa vatrom provode LILANJE.
I gave some works into that book as well,and of Sopje in one poem I tell.For many years they've celebrated IVANJE,and with the fire they carry out LILANJE.
