Od kada se nismo vidjeli nas dvoje?Možda te sad više prepoznao ne bi'?Godine su duge učinile svoje,a nekada mio bio sam ja tebi.

U sjećanju mome još je blijeda slika,onih dugih šetnji pored naše rijeke,slatkih poljubaca kraj gustih vrbika,divnih uspomena, prošlosti daleke.
In memory there still remains a faded viewof the long walks we took along our river's shore,of the sweet kisses where the willows thickly grew,of lovely memories, the distant days of yore.
Tko zna gdje si sada i čija si žena!Daleko od mene savila si gnijezdo.Ona divna prošlost sad je uspomenai sva ona mjesta gdje smo bili često.

Sjetim se tebe kad prođem kraj rijeke,gledajući dvoje gdje se sretno ljube.Kao da mi šapću iz daljina jeke:Volim te, mili! A riječi se gube.
