U četvrtak stiže program novi:koncert daju pjevački zborovi.Mnoga društva svoje slike slažu,pa i lovci trofeje izlažu.

Promocija "Tete Eve knjiga",pa izložba šlinganih ručnika,na izložbi mnoge žene sadanude robu od vezenog rada.

When the brass band plays its trumpets loud,and the girls twirl batons for the crowd,all that beauty on the square they view:that's part of the Valpovo Summer too.
I slikari svoj su obol dali,u subotu slike naslikali.Amaterska revija pjevača,rakijada da tijelo ojača.
And the painters, too, have done their share:Saturday they painted pictures there.There's an amateur singers' revue,and a rakija fest to strengthen you.
Osvanula i nedjelja sveta,oko dvorca sve divno izgleda,posvuda su šatre načičkane,raznovrsnom robom natrpane.
Holy Sunday dawns, so bright and fair,round the castle all looks lovely there;everywhere the tents are crammed in tight,stuffed with every kind of goods in sight.
Kad povorka prema dvorcu krene,na ulici: djeca, ljudi, žene,svi gledaju tu ljepotu snova:kako petnaest nastupa KUD-ova.
When the parade heads to the castle, thenout in the street: children, women, men;all are watching this, a dreamlike sight:fifteen KUDs perform with all their might.
Folkloraša iz Hrvatske cijele,mladež naša kako se vesele.Mnoge smotre u Valpovu gradu,konji kasom idu uz paradu.
Dancers come from all Croatia here,and our young are full of joy and cheer.Many shows in Valpovo are played,horses trot beside the grand parade.
Kad u dvorac stignu folklorašii sviraju kolo tamburašii šokica kad ugleda lolu,od miline vrisne u tom kolu.
When the dancers reach the castle, andkolo tunes ring from the tambura band,and a Šokica, when she spies her lad,in the kolo whoops, her heart so glad.
Da bi ovo Ljeto uljepšali,Zlatni vez su muziku nam dali.Kroz Valpovo svud veselje teče,nek' se pamti to čarobno veče'!
So this Summer might be finer still,Zlatni vez have played for us with skill.All through Valpovo flows pure delight:let us long remember this magic night!
Eto, to je Valpovačko Ljeto,kad se skupi Šokadija mlada,pa kad kolo šorom zavijori,a pod šatrom svakojakog slada.Tom veselju nigdje nema kraja,to je dio zemaljskoga raja.Slavit ćemo Valpovačko Ljeto,do godine četrdeset peto!
So, that's the Valpovo Summer here,when the young Šokadija gather round,when the kolo flutters down the lane,and in tents all kinds of treats abound.No end to this merriment, and soit's a part of paradise below.We will keep the Valpovo Summer heretill the forty-fifth one, come next year!
