The Wasp
Kad proljeće svanei kad sunce grane,ne samo pčela,već i osa slijećena mirisno cvijeće.
When the spring day's breakingand the sun is waking, not the bee alone, the wasp, too, will settleon each fragrant petal.
Jednog ljetnog danapojavi se ona.
One bright summer daythere she came my way.
Oh, koliko sreće!
Oh, what happiness!
Kao zumbul plavimiriše joj kosa.Ja sletoh na cvjetaki postadoh osa.
Her hair has the scentof a hyacinth blue;I lit on the blossom, and a wasp I grew.
U naručju njenom, sada snivam snove.Uz poljupce slatkemrsim njenu kosu.Tu predivnu ženu,žarko ljubit smijem.
Held in her embrace, now I dream my dreams;and with kisses sweetI tousle her hair;that most wondrous womanI may kiss, lip to lip.
Sa usana njenih,sa tog slatkog cvijeta, sada nektar pijem.
From those lips of hers, from that flower sweet, now the nectar I sip.
Oh, sretnog li mene,što sam osa bio?
Oh, how lucky am Ithat I was a wasp?
