Izgubih svojucipelu desnu, ali ja ne znams noge koje.

I've gone and lostmy right-hand shoe,but I can't saywhich foot it's from.

Molim nalaznikada sam provjeri, jer stonoge svojenoge ne broje.

I ask the finderto check it himself:do centipedes evercount their feet? No, never!

Bosonoga stonoga

Barefoot Hundred-Foot

Translator's note. Stonoga, the centipede, is literally a "hundred-legs"; the signature Bosonoga stonoga rhymes in Croatian, hence "Barefoot Hundred-Foot".
