Kada vikend u Valpovu svanei subotnje dopodne pojavi,narod čeka te ugodne dane:HRV-a ljepota se slavi!
When weekend dawns in Valpovo againand Saturday's forenoon comes into sight,the people wait for those fine days, and thenthey celebrate HRV with delight!
Umiljatim glasom Tomislava,na radiju zabrujale strune.Vjerujte mi, ljepota je prava,čestitka se sad sa pjesmom čuje.
With Tomislav's endearing voice, on airthe strings upon the radio hum and ring;believe me, there is real beauty there:with every song, the greetings people bring.
Deset sati, emisija kreće,prvi sat je KUD-ovaca slava.Slušatelji sad imaju sreće,to je za njih emisija prava.
At ten o'clock the show gets under way;the first hour's for the KUD folk and their fame.The listeners now have their lucky day:for them, this programme truly earns its name!
Emisija to je tamburaša,slušatelje ugodno veseli,odavno je bila želja naša,da si može čestitati tko želi.
It is the tamburica players' show;it fills the listeners with pleasant cheer;and it has been our wish since long agothat all who wish could send their greetings here.
Ali kratko emisija traje,jedan sat su slušatelju dali,jer KUD-ova izvještaj se dajei taj satić slušaocu fali.
But all too short the programme's time on air:one hour is all that listeners are allowed,for KUD reports are also broadcast there,and that small hour is missed by all the crowd.
