Jednog dana prođe dnevnik,na TV-u to je bilo.U Sopjanskoj nošnji ljudi,meni oko srca milo.

One day, when the news was through,there it was upon TV:people dressed in Sopje's costume;how my heart warmed, just to see!

A razlog je tomu bio:jer tu divnu emisijuvodio je Škoro smjelo.

And the reason for it was:Škoro, bold and confident,hosted this delightful show.

Granjaša sam toga časa,na TV-u ugledao,želja mi je tada bilada bi Sopje opisao.

At that moment I saw Granjašon the TV, where he stood,and my wish right then becameto describe Sopje, if I could.

I, zato sam sa zamolbomNačelnika zamolioza podatke koje trebamda bi pjesmu napisao.

And so, with this plea, I've cometo request the mayor's aidfor the facts that I requireso the poem can be made.
