Šokadijo slavna i velika,ti si našoj Slavoniji dika.Svako selo ima tamburašadivnih cura i čarobnih snaša.
O Šokadija, glorious and grand,you are the pride of our Slavonian land.Each village has tamburica players there,and lovely girls, and wives beyond compare.
Ja subotom slušam Ceciliju,što narodu divni osmjeh šalje.Na telefon odgovore daje,glas miline emisijom traje.
Each Saturday I hear Cecilija,who sends the people such a lovely smile;she takes the calls and answers, one by one,her voice of sweetness lasting till it's done.
Kad zapjeva ljepotu nam stvara:„ne ritaj se mačketino stara,joj, kirvaja ispod šlingeraja!“Od SIRENA ljepše pjesme stvara.
When she sings out, it's beauty and delight:"Old cat, don't kick about with all your might,oh, kirvaj underneath the petticoat!"Her songs outshine SIRENE's, clear and bright.
Što je lijepo neka dugo traje,mnogo ljeta nek' Cecilija vodi,to veselje slavonskoga žara,to je žena koja ima dara.
