Dva bureta prodajem za vino
Two Wine Barrels for Sale
I've gone and sold my old vineyard, and soI've things for sale that now will have to go.
So now I'd like to let the people hear:two barrels made for wine are offered here.
Each barrel holds three hundred litres, andI'd sell them both to get some cash in hand.
Lijepe bačve, zaobljene fino,u njima sam ja držao vino.
Such lovely casks, so beautifully round:my wine was kept in them, both safe and sound.
Izrađene od hrasta lužnjaka,a stežu ih šest obruča jaka.
They're made of lowland oak, the finest wood, and six strong hoops hold tight, just as they should.
Svako bure dva otvora ima, jedno pušta, drugo vino prima.
Each barrel has two holes, a fine design:one lets it out, the other takes in wine.
Kad u jesen napunim bačvicu, svakog dana uzimam litricu.
When in the autumn I have filled the cask,a litre every day is all I ask.
For years and years I've done it just this way:I drink my wine and savour it each day.
But now I've got no vineyard any more,so I'm getting both these barrels out the door.
Malo prije čuo sam, baš fino, jedna žena nudi crno vino.
A while ago I heard, oh, that is fine!a certain woman's offering red wine.
Baš divota i to valja znati,a ja bačve imam za prodati.
Now isn't that a wonder? Mark it well:for I have barrels that I want to sell!
The price is open, we can reach a deal:three little kuna a litre, what a steal!
Preko burze šaljem oglas vrijedan, nazovite: 652 osamsto dvadeset jedan.
Through Burza goes my ad, surpassed by none:call 652 eight hundred twenty-one.
