There are children in each city,and the winter shows no pity;Everywhere I must be going,to each child a visit owing.

Odmori se Djede malo,do tebe nam puno stalo.Vječito nam živ ti bioi darove donosio.

Rest a little, Grandpa, rest now,you're our dearest, dearest guest now!May you live for ever, ever,bring us presents, fail us never!

Cijelog svijeta djeca mala,od Londona do Japana,od Sidneyja do Urala,svi ti kliču: Hvala, hvala!

All the children, great and small,from London to far-off Japan,from Sydney to the Urals, call"Thank you, thank you!", one and all.
