Svratio sam u cvjećarsku radnjukod Jelene u Valpovu gradu,vidio sam razne aranžmane,koje stvara u svojemu radu.
I once dropped in upon a florist's shop,at Jelena's, in Valpovo, and thereI saw arrangements of all sorts and kindsthat she creates in her work with skill and care.
Blizu crkve smještena je radnja,cvjećarnica zvana "ORHIDEJA".Tko što treba neka ovdje svrati,Jela ima svakakvih ideja.
Close by the church there stands her flower shop;"ORHIDEJA" is the name you'll find.Whoever needs a thing, let them drop in:Jela has fine ideas of every kind.
Vijenac plete od prirodnog cvijeća.Ispleteno i oku je drago.Orhideje, ruže, tulipani,osnovno je to njezino blago.
From living flowers she will weave a wreath;once woven, to the eye it's very dear;orchids and roses, tulips, all of theseare the main treasure that she's keeping here.
Izrađuje predivne bukete,što mladenke nose na vjenčanju,aranžmane divno izrađene,jer je majstor u svojemu radu.
She makes the loveliest bouquets, the onesthat brides will carry on their wedding day,arrangements beautifully made, becauseshe's master of her work in every way.
U cvjećarni ima raznog cvijeća,priroda joj tu ljepotu dala,a predmete lijepo izrađene,svojim radom Jela uljepšala.
The flower shop has flowers of every kind,their beauty given them by nature's will;and pieces that are beautifully wroughtby Jela's work are made more lovely still.
Ne znaš što je ljepše u cvjećarni,da li cvijetak ili majstorica,možda buket koji krasi mladu,il' uskršnja cvjetna košarica.
You cannot tell what's lovelier in there:the flower, or the mistress of the trade,perhaps the bouquet that adorns the bride,or a flowered Easter basket she has made.
Kad je vidiš to je odmah jasno,divna usta uvijek nasmijana,nježan pogled što ti dušu grije,ta ljepota od Boga joj dana.
The moment you see her, it's clear to you:her lovely mouth is always smiling bright,her gentle gaze will warm your very soul,that beauty God has given her outright.
I još jedna vrlina ju krasi:poznata je po dobroti Jela.Ako nemaš novaca kod sebe,drugi put ćeš platit njena djela.
And one more virtue graces her as well:for kindness Jela's known, as people say;and if you have no money on you, thenanother time, for all her work, you'll pay.
