Ništa ljepše od tambure nema,pogotovo kad se svadba sprema.Tamburaši tiho će svirati,kad će svati mladu darivati.A kasnije, kad kum vodi koloi Šokica vrisne: dođi Lolo!Na tamburi kada cikne žica,odjekuje Slavonska ravnica.Pa i KIRVAJ uskoro će doći:sad svirajte vi "ČUVARI NOĆI!"
There's nothing lovelier than the tambura's play,especially when a wedding's on the way.The players then will softly play besidethe wedding guests who bring gifts to the bride.And later, when the kum leads out the kolo,and a Šokica cries out: "Come here, Lolo!",when on the tambura a string squeals high,the Slavonian plain rings out in reply.And soon the KIRVAJ too will be in sight:so play now, you, the "GUARDIANS OF THE NIGHT"!
