U stoljeću trinaestome,spominje se selo malo,na obali lijevoj Drave,seoce se Dnina zvalo.
In the thirteenth centurya small village is recalledon the left bank of the Drava;Dnina, so the place was called.
Zbog poplava i nezgoda,u šesnaestom bilo vijeku,da bi život sačuvali,prešli ljudi Dravu rijeku.
In the sixteenth centuryfloods and troubles struck them sore;so that they might save their lives,folk crossed to the Drava's other shore.
Na obali desnoj Drave,malo selo su izgradili,četrdeset bilo kuća,Bistrinci mu ime dali.
On the right bank of the Dravaa small village then was made:there were forty houses in it,named Bistrinci — so it stayed.
Ribolovom i agraromljudi se u selu bave,uvjeti su bili dobri,jer stanuju pokraj Drave.
Fishing, farming: that's the tradethat the village people ply;the conditions there were good,for the Drava's flowing by.
Osamnaestog prošlog vijeka,Dravom slika doplovila,spominje se sveta Ana,narodu je svetost bila.
In the eighteenth century,floating on the Drava's tide,came a picture of Saint Anne,which the folk held sanctified.
Bistrinčani plemeniti,u selu su vrijedni bilii svetište svetoj Ani,pokraj Drave napravili.
Bistrinci's noble peoplein their village worked with care,and a shrine to holy Annethey built by the Drava there.
Osamsto i trinaeste,bogomolju su gradilii svetome Stjepanu suoltar časno posvetili.
In the year of eighteen-thirteenthey put up a house of prayer,and with honour to Saint Stephenconsecrated the altar there.
Bistrinčani vrijedni ljudi,DVD su osnovali,već sto deset godinicasvome selu obol dali.
Bistrinci's hard-working peoplefounded the DVD brigade;for a hundred and ten years nowthey have given their village aid.
Selo se je razvijaloi ljudi su vrijedni bili,djeca selo popunila,pa su školu izgradili.
And the village grew apace,and its people toiled away;children filled the village up,so they built a school one day.
I tisuću devetsto osmeškola bila otvorena,kultura je bila časno,Bistrincima podarena.
And in nineteen-oh-eight the schoolwas first opened, all brand-new;to Bistrinci culture came,granted with the honour due.
Godine su prolazile,industriji nek' je hvala.Tvornica je Gutmanova,Bistrincima puno dala.
Years went by; to industrylet our grateful thanks be said:it was Gutmann's factorygave Bistrinci work and bread.
Razvilo se ovo selo,ima dosta stanovnika,spojilo se sa Belišćem,za Bistrince to je dika.
And the village grew and spread,many live there, quite a crowd;now it's joined up with Belišće,and that makes Bistrinci proud.
Uz ribičko društvo slavno,nogometni klub postoji:"PODRAVAC" mu ime dali,u zapisu tako stoji.
Next to the famous angling clubthere's a football club as well:"Podravac" is the name it bears,so the written records tell.
Predivno je ovo selo,o napretku ljudi sniliBistrinci su sa ljepotom,Slavoniju okitili!
Oh, how lovely is this village!People dreamed of progress here;with its beauty, Bistrincihas adorned Slavonia dear!
